Kitten with weaner piglets

When they are six weeks old, piglets are moved to weaner pens where they will begin to be fattened for slaughter. Weaner and grower pens are breeding grounds for cats, rats and flies and many pigs suffer from painful injuries and infected wounds. Piglets will often huddle together for warmth and comfort.
