Farm Transparency Project is a non-profit animal protection charity, dedicating to ending commercialised animal abuse and exploitation in Australian animal agriculture facilities by increasing industry transparency and educating the public about modern farming and slaughtering practices.
Donations are not tax-deductible. Unfortunately, to attain Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status, animal welfare organisations must be primarily focused on providing short-term direct care or rehabilitation to lost, mistreated or abandoned animals, rather than advocacy. This means we are not eligible to claim DGR status.
If donating by credit/debit card, your donation will be securely processed by Stripe. Minimum donation for credit/debit cards is 50c.
If you would like to make a bequest to Farm Transparency Project in your will, we suggest the following wording (which should be discussed further with your solicitor or estate planner):
I give and bequeath to Farm Transparency International Ltd (ABN 46 641 242 579) for the use and purpose of Farm Transparency Project the sum of ... dollars, free of all death duties, and the receipt of the Treasurer or Executive Director or other proper officer of Farm Transparency Project shall be a full and sufficient discharge to my executors for this legacy.
You may also wish to express the bequest in terms of a percentage or portion of the estate remaining after necessary expenses.
