Goat sticking

Once in the kill room, goats have their throats slit and are hung upside down on a shackle line. Our cameras show that continued consciousness is not uncommon, with goats appearing to blink, thrash and struggle as they bleed out on the sticking table. Some goats fall into the blood-filled drain below the shackle line and are seen continuing to struggle as other goats are killed above them. Footage shows one fully conscious goat, frantic with fear, sliding through the deep blood and cowering as the blood of dozens of goats covers them completely. Finally they are dragged out and shackled.
