Mother cow baking in sun, unable to get up with dead calf in front of her

The mother was left in the hot sun, in the paddock, with her dead calf in front of her. The farmer approached at great speed on a quad bike as we approached on the footpath and took a photo. The farmer tried to take our camera and demanded we delete the photo. He said he had "pulled" the calf earlier that day. (so her knew about the situation but didn't even care to remove the dead baby so the mother didn't have to sit there and just look over her dead calf). He clearly didn't care about any stress the mother cow was in with her dead calf in front of her nor about the heat of the day she was sitting in. We don't know if she could even get up. This farmer has his farm facing the main highway with the cow and dead calf in a paddock clearly visible by everyone. He couldn't care less and only became concerned about his actions when we took a photo. We contacted the RSPCA and were told they would investigate but never heard anything further.
