Two sows shot with rifle

At Menzel's sows are shot with a rifle in order to 'stun' them prior to having their throats slit. These two sows were herded into the pen together. One was shot and began spasming violently on the ground while the other sow attempted to find a way out. The other sow was then shot, however did not collapse, instead rearing back in pain. Bleeding from her mouth, this sow then frantically ran around the pen and forced her way out of the race, escaping back down into the holding pens. She was chased by workers who herded her back up and shot her again. This time she collapsed to the floor and began shaking and spasming.
