Farm Transparency Project activists converge at Ralph’s Meat Co in Seymour
Protesters are gathering outside a central Victorian slaughterhouse after shocking footage emerged last month of cows allegedly being killed in a cruel manner.
The protest comes after Farm Transparency Project activists released new footage from the facility captured using hidden cameras which were installed by the group in early 2024.
The footage allegedly shows malnourished and injured cows suffering for minutes as they are ineffectively stunned and sometimes killed while fully conscious.
Around 20 protesters are outside the slaughterhouse’s gates.
