Dear Minister Tierney,
I am writing to express my concern regarding the violence and destruction caused by the Australian dairy industry. After watching the footage at <a href="../stopthecycle" target="_blank" rel="noopener">www.farmtransparency.org</a><a href="../stopthecycle" target="_blank" rel="noopener">/stopthecycle</a> I am sickened and outraged that such a cruel and unsustainable industry can go unchallenged. 
I care deeply about the wellbeing of animals, humans and our planet and want this government to demonstrate that they put kindness and fairness above profit. I am writing to demand that you immediately begin the development of a program to transition dairy farmers out of this industry and into ethical and sustainable alternatives, including the growing plant-based sector. 
As the Minister for Agriculture I ask you to consider the future of the planet and the wellbeing of the 1.5 million dairy cows in Australia and support a just transition for this industry. 
I look forward to your response.
