Pig group president David Wright to remain despite ‘substantiated’ complaint
The president of the Victorian Farmers Federation’s pig group will remain in his leadership role after allegations he breached animal welfare regulations were substantiated by authorities.
David Wright, who co-owns Leitchville pig farm EcoPiggery alongside Benalla Abattoir owner Colin Sinclair, has been sent a letter from Agriculture Victoria asking him to improve animal welfare at the northern Victorian piggery.
