Man suffers life-threatening injuries when kicked by bull at Riverview, Ipswich | 7NEWS

A man has been critically injured when he was kicked by a bull at an Ipswich cattle yard.

The man in his 60s was at a property on Lock Way in Riverview when he suffered life-threatening chest injuries about 6.50pm on Monday.

He was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital.

The incident has sparked an workplace health and safety investigation.

“Workplace Health and Safety Queensland is making enquiries into an incident that occurred at a cattle yard in Riverview on 16 August 2024,” a spokesperson for the regulator said.

“An inspector has attended the site.

“As this is an active investigation no further comment can be made.”
